Overview

Ox & Bucks represent D Company from the Oxfordshire and Buckingamshire Light Infatry Regiment, under Major John Howard. Commonly considered to be the best glider-borne company in the 6th Airborne, Ox & Bucks was selected to land at Pegasus Bridge as part of Operation Deadstick, securing a vital bridge over the Orne just ahead of the Normandy invasion.
