To replace the fighter bomber requirement that was originally filled by Varga RMI-1 X/H, Hungary got a production license of Me 210. Me 210 was produced in Dunai Repülőgépgyár Rt. with two third of the production being sent to Luftwaffe. Me 210 CA-1 was the Hungarian version of the Me 210C with Daimler-Benz DB 605A-1 engine.
102./3 Fast Bomber Squadron was the first squadron to be equipped with Me 210 CA-1 with 102./2 Fast Bomber Squadron and 102./1 Fast Bomber Squadron formed later. 102./2 Fast Bomber Squadron and 102./1 Fast Bomber Squadron were combined to form 102. Fast Bomber Group.
