Maultier is a German Transport unit.

Sd.Kfz. 3, commonly called Maultier (Mule) was a half-track utility truck created in 1941 for use in the Soviet Union, after Germany discovered that their Opel trucks could not be used reliably due to the sparse road network and muddy conditions. It's a simple conversion of Opel, Daimler-Benz, Alfa-Romeo and Ford trucks created by replacing rear axles with spare Panzer I and Panzer II truck assemblies. This particular truck is an Opel Blitz S conversion, which was the most common Maultier.
