Bedford is a Polish Transport unit.

Overview[ | ]

Bedford QL are the most common 3ton 4 X 4 in service. Unlike earlier GS types, Bedford QL had Four wheel drive, forward control enclosed cab, and a standardized engine. Production of the Bedford QL started in 1940 with series production in 1941 and ending with 52,248 in 1945. Bedford QL along other new productions replaced the vehicles lost in France.

In the 3rd Polish Infantry Brigade, the Infantry Battalions were mounted in organic transportation platoon. In real life Armata 17-pdr were transported by Half-tracks while the Haubica 25-pdr were towed by Morris Commercial C8 FAT trucks.
