AB M1 How 75mm is a United States Artillery unit.

Overview[edit | edit source]

M1 75mm Howtizer was first develped during the 1920s to meet a need for an artillery piece that could be moved across difficult terrain with small scale production starting August 1927 and full scale production starting in September 1940.

The 101st Airborne Division during Normandy had 377th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion  and two Glider Field Artillery Battalion 321st and 907th. 377th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion had three four gun batteries while the Glider Field Artillery Battalion two six gun batteries.
